Solutions at idVation consist of a combination of consultancy, hardware and software.
Our core area of expertise: smart card-based authentication systems which we support from initial consultancy (often in several stages) to the conception of the system to the first proof of concept and production of the individual components (e.g. cards) to installation (usually by the customer’s IT specialists).
Multiple-application solutions according to the PKI principle – usually combined with other components (such as entry control). idVation’s areas of focus include PKCS#11 and Microsoft GIDS, for instance.

These components are used for:

The components most frequently used are:
Chip cards with various storage capacities which can also be equipped with cryptographic codes. These cards are written to and read out using a contact coding and reading device.
RFID cards or radio frequency identification cards fitted with chips which can be written to and read out without contact with a reader or coding device.
Dual interfaces are multitalented ‘all-rounders’ which can be coded and read out using contact devices and also work without contact using RFID technology.
All cards can be given an individual visual design and printed and/or personalised with a specific layout.
